Taylor
Taylor Swift, the rarest pop phenomenon is a star who managed to move from the country genre to mainstream pop culture and become an idol of the pop culture. The singer also swept all over the world during the course of her journey. Swift shed the country influences as if they were an additional layer of skin. She revealed that she was among the most talented singers/songwriters in her generation. Swift could make the occasion personal, or use the moment to benefit. Swift's first hits, particularly the neo song in tribute to Tim McGraw, showed off her talents. But her 2008 album Fearless showed a singer-songwriter who was re-discovering herself and finding a large audience. The album was able to have significant legs not only within the U.S. where it racked seven platinum singles thanks to Top Ten hits Love Story and the hit single You Belong with Me but throughout the globe, performing especially well in Australia, U.K. Canada and Australia. Swift's next album, Speak Now, released nearly two years following the first one, consolidated this momentum. It propelled Swift to the heights of fame. The next three albums she released, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017) Reputation (2017), the popularity of Swift grew, and she found herself in a world of pop music in which it became clear she was a part of. She stayed in the forefront of pop even when she dropped her style with her sibling albums Folklore and Evermore in 2020.
