Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny 3 February 1950) is an American actress. In the late 1980s, she became a household name for her appearances on various TV series. She was known for portraying a glamorous persona. Fairchild started her career on her role on the CBS morning soap Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace between 1973 and 1977. In 1978 she appeared in the soap opera of the same name Dallas as the very first actress to portray Jenna Wade before taking a main role in the NBC series Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for Television Series Drama). Fairchild co-starred alongside ABC in the soap opera Paper Dolls from 1984. She also performed the role of Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest from 1985 through 1986. Fairchild is also a performer on stage, having appeared on TV shows like Murphy Brown, for which she won an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in Comedy Series.
