Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny 3 February 1950) is an American actress from America. The 1980s were when Fairchild became famous with her roles on several television shows. Her fame was for portraying a glamorous persona. Fairchild's acting career started in 1973 when she played Jennifer Pace on the CBS soap opera Search for Tomorrow. She appeared as Jenna Wade in 1978, the first actress to play Jenna Wade had done so. In 1980 she took the role of Jennifer Wade on Flamingo Road (NBC), for which she won a Golden Globe Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Television Series Drama. Fairchild co-starred alongside ABC on the soap Paper Dolls in 1984 and was on the show as Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest from 1985 to 1986. Fairchild also appeared in the theatre, as well as in guest roles on television shows, including Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. Fairchild was also considered for an Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 for her part in this program. Fairchild is a member of the board of SAG-AFTRA.
