Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington has been an Greek American columnist, author and businesswoman for over 20 years. She co-founded The Huffington Post, is the CEO and founder of Thrive Global as well an writer of 15 novels. Arianna Huffington is a TV host, journalist writer, philanthropist, and philanthropist for over ten years. Her role also includes being the owner of The Huffington Post, an independent, liberal online newsmagazine. Her birthplace was in Greece and moved to England when she was 16. In Cambridge University, she graduated with a MA in Economics. The first non-English student to graduate, she was elected President of The Cambridge Union' at age 21. Then she became a syndicated conservative writer following graduation and, with The Huffington Post launched a few years after, she created an online voice platform that offered criticisms on political scenarios. Her popularity allowed her to persuade a number of celebrities to contribute their opinion regarding current affairs, the political and culture. Arianna gained fame after she decided in 2003 to become an Independent candidate for the California Recall election to succeed former Governor Davis. Additionally, she was involved in an initiative in Detroit that promoted fuel-efficient automobiles. Forbes listed her the most powerful woman in media in 2009. The newspaper was ranked as at 12th place on their ranking. The Guardian also included her on the top 100 list of media for 2009. AOL Inc. bought The Huffington Post in 2011 and named her the president of their media company that also includes other AOL products like Engadget AOL Music Style list and Patch Media. Elli is the daughter of Konstantinos Stasinopoulos as well as Elli the other, both of whom are journalist and management consultants. Though she was close to her father it was the relationship she shared with her mother which shaped her life. In her earliest years, she exhibited the qualities of a leader for which are still prominently known. When she was 16 she relocated into the United Kingdom to pursue her studies and enrolled in Girton College Cambridge. When she was in college she was a member of the Cambridge Union's colleges debating societies, which she later became the first foreign and female president. The year 1972 was the year her master's in Economics was conferred. She worked as a critic, a TV host and columnist upon her graduation. The appearance she made in Face the music with Bernard Levin was also noteworthy. She started writing books and enlisting his assistance for editing.
