Carla Camila Cabello (American Spanish:; born on the 3rd of March, 1997[1]) is an American born Cuban musician and singer. Her fame was gained as a singer and songwriter in the girl group Fifth Harmony. This group has become one of America's top-selling girl groups. Cabello became a singer-songwriter while in Fifth Harmony. She released the songs "I Know That You Did It Last Summer" and "Bad Things", both of which included collaborations with Shawn Mendes. The latter hit number 4 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Cabello left the band in 2016. At the start of her career Belle participated in numerous TV commercials for a variety of well-known brands including Eli Lilly Pharmaceutical, Cabbage Patch Kids, Campbell's Soup and Public Broadcasting System. In 1992 the actress was chosen to play the lead character in her debut movie, which was a thriller by NBC, Trapped Beneath the Earth. Her career in the film industry began in 1995 and she starred in an supporting character for the film A Little Princess. The film The Lost World: Jurassic Park (2000), she played Cathy Bowman a rich young British girl who is assaulted by a gang of Compsognathus. In 1998, she was Aubrey Shepard on the Focus on the Family radio show Adventures in Odyssey. After a brief appearance as Steven Seagal's daughter in The Patriot (1998), she was awarded an award in 1999 for a Youth in Film Young Artist Award nomination for her performance in Sandra Bullock's role an actress in Practical Magic (1998), as well an award the same year for her guest appearance in the television series Walker: Texas Ranger.
